The battle continues to rage between the population control experts advising the Vatican on Pope Francis’ environmental agenda, and the Catholic pro-life movement.
The key to understanding the agenda behind sustainable development is to recognize that it is not ultimately about the environment, but about control. All of the concepts, buzzwords, and jargon related to this new world agenda - sustainable development, globalism, pluralism, social justice, biodiversity, sustainable use, biotechnology, environmental protection, smart growth, and global warming, just to name a few, are public-friendly masks to an insidious and progressive agenda to bring about a communistic global village, controlled by the United Nations and the organizations that support it. In this new world, which is outlined in the U.N.'s agenda for the 21st century, called Agenda 21, and the Convention on Biodiversity (conceived as the practical tool for implementing the objectives of Agenda 21), rights of the individual are sacrificed for the common good in just about every area of life, with the global governing body making the determination as to just what that "common good" is.
In 1955, then Soviet Premier, Nikita Krushchev ordered April 22nd be designated a day to celebrate Communism. In 1970, it was chosen to be Earth Day by Gaylord Nelson, one of the founders of the event. Those founders had 365 days from which to choose. They chose Lenin's birthday.
Today [22 April] is Earth Day and, not coincidentally, the birthday of Vladimir Lenin. The connection between the two is controversial but not unexpected. Both Lenin and modern day "environmentalists" believe that they have been ordained to dictate to others how they should live their lives. Both also hold, or in Lenin's case, held, to the belief that the world is overpopulated-. Lenin merely had a more direct means of dealing with the problem.

I may lose some friends out there, but I have to speak up about a phenomenon I've noticed over the past few years. It came to the fore for me with the recent story about the battle between the TV meteorologists over stripping the American Meteorological Society certification from any weatherman who expresses skepticism about the degree to which global warming can be blamed on human activity.
If you've been wanting an interesting, clearly written, how-to manual for identifying and fighting UN Agenda 21, here it is.
The globalist Rio+20 conference is just around the corner, and the topics to be discussed during such meeting will be of out most importance to all of us, not because its attendees wish to really solve issues that threaten humanity as a whole, but because the sponsors of the movement are planning to bring about world tyranny through environmental policy; much like the Nazis did even before Hitler rose to power. That is not to say that the world is not under the threat of environmental problems, but none of those problems will be talked about and solved in Rio de Janeiro next week.
